Compare licensed local HVAC companies, see what jobs actually cost in your city, and request free quotes from the pros you pick. Sponsored listings are always labeled.
How it works
Three steps. No call center.
Most homeowners finish in under five minutes. You stay in control of who you talk to — we never resell your number.

One field, five digits. We jump straight to the pros who actually serve your block, not a national lead list.
Read the short list
We show who's licensed, what they charge locally, and the honest trade-offs between them — not a ranked top-10 full of ads.
Request quotes, keep control
Message the two or three pros you actually want to hear from. No phone spam, no surprise middlemen.

Editorial standards
How we pick what to show you.
We’re opinionated on purpose. Here’s the exact bar a company has to clear before we recommend them — and the bar stays the same for sponsored partners.
- Active license, verified regularly. We check every HVAC company's state contractor license against public records. If a license lapses, the company drops off the list — no exceptions.
- Recent reviews weighted over old ones.A 4.9 from 2018 with nothing since doesn't outrank a 4.6 with 40 reviews in the last 12 months. Recent work is what actually matters.
- Pressure-sales shops are excluded.Bait pricing, unresolved complaints, and expired insurance disqualify a company. The bar is the same for everyone — including sponsored listings.
- Local cost ranges, not national averages.HVAC pricing varies wildly between metros. Every cost range is scoped to the city or county, not averaged into something meaningless.
Common questions
Quick answers about how we research providers and how your data is handled.
Is this really free for homeowners?
Yes. Reading provider pages, cost guides, and comparison pages is free, and so is requesting a quote. We make money from the contractor side — partner pros pay to be featured and to receive matched homeowner leads.
How do you decide who to list?
Every pro on the site has to clear the same bar: an active state contractor license, an operating business entity, and no pattern of unresolved complaints. Above that bar, featured partners may appear higher in the list — we always label sponsored placements as such so you know what you're looking at.
What does "featured" mean?
Featured and sponsored pros pay to reach homeowners on the site. They still have to pass the same license and conduct checks as everyone else — we won't take money from a company we wouldn't send a family member to. When a listing is sponsored, it's labeled.
Will I get spammed if I request a quote?
You choose which pros to contact, and we only pass your ZIP and project type to those companies. No phone tree, no call center reselling your number to dozens of strangers.
What areas do you cover?
We're live in 50 states with 2772+ cities and 18592 verified providers. More states are being added as we finish onboarding licensing sources. Enter your ZIP to see what's live near you.
